Goin' to America
We haven't written much this last week because we've been pretty busy preparing for our trip to America. Newsletters have been printed, folded and stuffed in envelopes. We've eaten nearly everything out of our fridge as Liese likes to slowly stop buying food in the weeks leading up to our departure.
Our trip is going to be a busy one this year and there will be lots of traveling. We'll be with Danny's family for the first bit and sharing at CalvarySLO on the 26th and then Danny will fly to the Desiring God National Conference. After that we'll be in Sun City for a few days and then we'll drive out to Arizona where we'll be sharing at Calvary Chapel Casa Grande and Calvary Chapel Maricopa and spending time with Danny's family there.
From AZ we'll drive back to the central coast and Danny will be speaking at CalvarySLO's mission event "World Comission". On the 24th of October we'll be speaking at Foothill Bible church and then we head up to Northern California where we'll be speaking at Calvary Chapel Gridley on the 31st.
From there we'll head up to Grants Pass to see Liese's grandma and family and then we'll drive up to Portland stopping off to see some friends in Salem. Then we head back down to Yuba City for a couple weeks before returning back to Ukraine.
So...if you see we'll be in your neck of the woods and you want to see us then drop us a line, leave a comment, tweet, or do whatever it is that you want to do to get our attention. Because we'd like to see you too.
This will be the last post from Kaharlyk for the next couple months. From here on out expect to see intermittent pictures of our family and updates on how things are going.

In Lumine printing Heaven by Randy Alcorn
In Lumine will be printing Randy Alcorn's Heaven in the next month or so. We've finished the design and are doing the final correcting and editing of the text. We'll be printing a couple books digitally to have as examples for the DG conference in a month.

Global Mission Mondays: taking a break
Our church is taking a break from our "global mission mondays" for the next few months. We are preparing for our upcoming trip to the states and didn't want to put an extra load on other people to research countries while we were gone.
Instead of praying for various countries at our prayer meetings our church is starting something new by praying for a different city department each month. During the month we plan on taking the Head of the department a greeting card and possibly a gift for the whole department and letting them know that we appreciate what they do in our city and that we are praying for them. This month we are praying for the fire department.
During the next six months we plan on also doing this with the water/sewage department, the town clean-up department, the road works department, the gas company, and the electric company.
